Every project with Scott & Browne begins with a conversation, a chance for us to understand how you live, what inspires you and how your space might evolve. Our initial design consultation allows us to explore both the practical and the beautiful such as what you need and how it will look in the space and how our craftsmanship can bring it to life.
Following the initial meeting, we’ll prepare a concept sketch, an outline of costs and a collection of reference images from our past work to help you visualise the potential of your project. Once you’re ready to proceed, we develop hand drawn plans and detailed elevations, refining proportions, materials and finishes to produce what we both think will work best. We can also work closely with your architect or interior designer if you have appointed one for the project.
Every piece of joinery is made by hand in our Suffolk workshop by skilled craftspeople who take pride in building each item from start to finish. From the first cut of timber to the final hand finishing, our focus is on precision, integrity and finish.
The result is furniture and joinery that are beautiful, timeless, functional and made to last for generations.
We welcome collaborations with clients, architects and interior designers, bringing thoughtful design and craftsmanship to every project. Using traditional joinery techniques and the finest materials, our work blends proportion, balance and detail to suit both classic and contemporary settings. Each piece is carefully designed, handcrafted and hand-finished – timeless, functional and beautifully made to last.
