From the age of five I knew I was going to work with wood so, while still at a school as a teenager, I got my foot in the door at a local furniture makers sweeping up. They specialised in reproducing furniture pieces from the 18th century and there I completed my apprenticeship where I was taught invaluable lessons in the fundamentals of wood work. From there I met Richard (who I have now worked with for over 14 years) making freestanding furniture, kitchens and one off joinery projects where my passion for fine furniture has grown and grown.

My background in furniture making began straight after school. From there I went onto starting my own joinery workshop (mainly working on period properties), doing all aspects of furniture making and bespoke joinery projects and working with some of the regions top architects. Over the years I've gained knowledge ion proportions, layouts and what materials work where.
